Made This Film For Men, Not Women: Anubhav Sinha on Thappad
Thappad could be weeks away from launch, but director Anubhav Sinha wears a peek of contentment that probably arises from the skills he has made a good film.
Referring to the movie director Anubhav Sinha shares, “I have made this film for men, not females. We have been trying to figure out the audience while some mass media persons will likely be asked, the others will likely be local artistes from the world of literature and music. I picked Lucknow as one of the towns because we picture the motion picture there and i also love the metropolis,” clarifies the director.
“This film is approximately the relationship that people in, outdoors and share their marriages. It tackles a plethora of issues that have unfortunately been normalised. A whole lot of us indulge in gaslighting without realising it. In order to appropriate [our behaviour, we must initially know that it is wrong.”
So assured is he of his storytelling that comes up coming few days, the filmmaker will hold screenings from the Taapsee Pannu starrer across five metropolitan areas which includes Lucknow, Delhi, Bhopal and Jaipur and Mumbai leading up to its release on February 28.
After reaching critical and box office achievement with Article15, Anubhav Sinha is back with another film, Thappad made by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar starring Taapsee Pannu will launch on 28 February 2020.
